Rehm's Nursery & Garden Center, located at 5801 Lomas Blvd. in Albuquerque, NM, between San Mateo Blvd and San Pedro Dr., is fondly known as the "Purple Greenhouse." For over 80 years, we have been dedicated to providing Albuquerque with seasonal color and a wide variety of plants.
What began as a small herb stand has grown into a vibrant destination occupying two city blocks, featuring a diverse selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, and all your gardening essentials.

Rehm's Nursery & Garden Center has proudly served the Albuquerque community and beyond for over 80 years. Owners Tammy Hayman and Tyler Leslie are dedicated to providing exceptional service and support, backed by a knowledgeable and courteous staff.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, our team is here to guide you in selecting, caring for, and maintaining your plants. As a family-owned and locally operated business, we are licensed and certified to help you create flourishing gardens and landscapes.

We understand that growing your own plants and blooms, especially in the Southwest, can be a daunting task. That’s why we grow many of our plants in our on-site greenhouses (seasonal) to ensure they are healthy and acclimated to our local climate.
At Rehm's, we share your passion for plants and believe that when you purchase from us, you’ll notice the difference in quality. Our extensive selection includes a wide variety of annuals, perennials, true dwarf and semi-dwarf fruit trees, ornamental trees, shrubs, drought-tolerant xeriscape plants, roses, vines, grapes, berries, herbs, and seasonal vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuce, chard, spinach, peppers, squash, eggplants, melons, cucumbers, pumpkins, and more.

ROSES
Rehm's is renowned for having the largest and most beautiful variety of roses in town! We source our roses from esteemed growers, including Week's, Star, and David Austin Roses. Each January, our roses arrive as bare root plants, which are then potted, cared for, and nurtured on-site to ensure their quality. They are typically available for sale starting in April, depending on the weather.
If you're looking for a specific or special rose, we invite you to join our ‘Rose Wishlist.’ You'll be contacted as soon as your desired roses are ready for purchase. Experience the beauty of our rose selection and find the perfect addition to your garden!
HOUSEPLANTS
Our Tropical House features a vast array of houseplants to suit every taste and preference. From air plants and succulents to cacti and Aloe Vera, we offer a diverse selection, including:

BAREROOTS (RASPBERRIES, STRAWBERRIES, ASPARAGUS, RHUBARB)
Weather permitting, our bare root raspberries, strawberries, asparagus crowns, and rhubarb are typically available for purchase in early February and again in early April. Buying these items in bare root form allows you to purchase in multiples, making them a more cost-effective option compared to buying potted plants.

BULBS (SEASONAL)
Spring and Summer Bulbs & Planting Essentials
Our selection of spring bulbs, including tulips, daffodils, iris, crocus, hyacinths, muscari, allium, and some Little Treasures, typically arrives in mid to late September. Plant these bulbs in October and November for a stunning display of color in the spring.
In addition to bulbs, we offer onion sets, potato seeds, and garlic to enhance your garden's harvest. Prepare for a vibrant spring by stocking up on these planting essentials!
Holiday Bulbs
Amaryllis and paperwhite bulbs usually arrive in mid-October, perfect for Christmas blooming.
Summer Bulbs
Our summer bulbs, such as gladiolus, lily of the valley, hostas, dahlias, cannas, lilies, caladium, elephant ears, ferns, and ranunculus, typically arrive in mid to late February. Plant these in March and April for a beautiful summer bloom.

VEGETABLES
Homegrown Vegetables
At Rehm's, our "homegrown" vegetables are available seasonally to ensure you have the freshest options for your garden.
Cool Weather Veggies
During the cooler months, we offer a variety of cool-weather vegetables, including chard, spinach, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, collards, peas, and beans, available in convenient 4-packs.
Summer Veggies
As the weather warms, our summer vegetables, such as tomatoes, peppers, squash, eggplant, and cucumbers, become available from late March through April and May, depending on weather conditions.
